I am a social worker and climate activist who strongly believes that every individual has a responsibility to protect nature and create a healthier environment for future generations. It is a mission born from a deep concern for our environment, our future generations, and the planet we call home. Today, our world is facing one of the greatest challenges in human history—global warming. Rising temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, environmental degradation, and increasing pollution levels are no longer distant threats; they are realities that affect our daily lives.

Our goal is not simply to provide products and services. Our mission is to create awareness, inspire action, and encourage people to become active participants in building a sustainable future. We believe that environmental protection is not the responsibility of governments alone; it is a collective responsibility shared by every citizen, family, business, and community.

One of the major contributors to environmental pollution is the transportation sector, which relies heavily on fossil fuels. The smoke emitted from conventional vehicles contributes significantly to air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. This is why we are committed to promoting electric vehicles as a cleaner and more sustainable alternative. Electric mobility has the potential to reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, and create healthier cities and villages for everyone. Similarly, the production of electricity through conventional methods continues to contribute to environmental degradation. We strongly advocate the adoption of solar energy as a clean, renewable, and environmentally friendly solution. Solar power not only reduces dependence on fossil fuels but also empowers individuals and businesses to generate sustainable energy while lowering long-term energy costs.

We dream of a Kerala where clean energy powers homes and businesses, where electric vehicles become the preferred mode of transportation, where communities actively participate in environmental conservation, and where sustainable living becomes a way of life. We envision greener cities, cleaner air, healthier communities, and a future where economic growth and environmental protection go hand in. Our long-term vision is to contribute towards building a greener India—an India that leads the world in environmental responsibility, renewable energy adoption, sustainable transportation, and climate action. Every solar panel installed, every electric vehicle adopted, and every environmentally conscious decision made by an individual brings us one step closer to this goal.

As an Oil & Gas Specialist with a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management from Christ College, Bangalore, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I have spent years understanding the relationship between industrial growth and the natural world. That journey has strengthened my belief that development and environmental responsibility must progress together rather than exist in conflict.

Our planet is facing challenges that can no longer be ignored. Rivers and lakes are increasingly affected by industrial discharge, while uncontrolled emissions and open waste burning continue to diminish air quality. These forms of pollution not only damage ecosystems but also threaten the well-being of communities that depend on clean natural resources for survival.

Environmental degradation extends far beyond what we can immediately see. Contaminated soil reduces agricultural productivity, polluted water affects human health, and deteriorating air quality contributes to respiratory diseases and other serious medical conditions. Every decision that disregards environmental responsibility carries consequences that reach far into the future.

The effects of climate change have become increasingly evident through prolonged heatwaves, erratic weather patterns, water scarcity, and severe flooding. Expanding urban landscapes, excessive dependence on fossil fuels, and the continuous loss of forests have accelerated these changes, placing additional pressure on ecosystems that have sustained life for centuries.

The disappearance of natural habitats has also placed countless species at risk. As forests shrink and wetlands vanish, wildlife is forced into unfamiliar environments where survival becomes increasingly difficult. The loss of biodiversity weakens nature's resilience and disrupts the ecological balance upon which humanity ultimately depends.

Protecting the environment requires more than awareness—it demands consistent action. Conserving water, reducing plastic consumption, embracing renewable energy, encouraging responsible waste management, restoring degraded landscapes, and supporting sustainable agriculture are practical measures that can create meaningful and lasting change when adopted collectively.

I believe that every individual, every business, and every community has the ability to become part of the solution. Progress should never be measured solely by economic success but also by the quality of the environment we preserve for those who follow us. I am so glad to express my earnest interest in becoming a part of Green Evangelisation Movement (GEM), a non-governmental organization committed to address environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices, which I really feel is the need of the day for spreading the good news of safeguarding gods own nature polluted by man-made activities.                                                                        

My international experience in the health sector for the past few decades and the recent experience as a member in one of the panchayats of the state, I am personally aware about the disastrous effects and consequences of pollution especially air pollution which kills millions of people annually in India itself and billions universally.

 

I believe that my association with this movement will allow me to contribute to a greener and more sustainable future, while aligning with the government's efforts to combat pollution and promote renewable energy sources. I am particularly drawn to GEM's mission of reducing pollution caused by vehicular emissions and promoting the adoption of solar energy solutions to bring a healthy green environment around us.

 

The alarming levels of air pollution resulting from vehicular emissions have grave consequences for both public health and the environment. Moreover I aim to work collaboratively with fellow members to encourage and support policies that facilitate its integration into our society. Through my involvement, I aspire to contribute positively to society by addressing critical environmental challenges and advocating for change at both the individual and community levels.

                                                                                                                                      

Considering air pollution as the biggest problem the whole universe is facing currently, I have decided to dedicate the rest of my life to be a part of this green revolution movement which will automatically increase the healthy life span of people and thereby enable the most vital factor for a human being which is clean air to breathe.

Some of the most valuable things in life cannot be bought, replaced, or manufactured. The air we breathe is one of them. It belongs equally to every individual, yet today it is increasingly threatened by pollution and the growing dependence on fossil fuels. I believe this is a challenge that deserves more than concern—it deserves action.

This belief is the foundation of my journey.

As a Bachelor of Technology graduate from Amal Jyothi Engineering College, I have consistently seen innovation as a powerful means to address practical, real-world challenges. Among the many challenges facing humanity, protecting the environment stands out as one of the most urgent. The future should not force people to choose between development and a healthy planet. We are capable of achieving both.

My vision is to encourage a future where cleaner energy becomes the preferred choice, where sustainable technologies are embraced with confidence, and where every step toward progress also becomes a step toward protecting nature. I dream of communities surrounded by fresh air, thriving greenery, and an environment that supports healthier lives for everyone.

This venture is built upon the conviction that meaningful change begins with responsibility.
